**The Trap**
Author: John Smelcer
Genre: Fiction
Summary: "Johnny Least-Weasel worries that his grandfather hasn't returned home from checking his trapline. The elderly Indian packed ample supplies onto his snowmobile, but has been out far too long in the plummeting temperatures of the Alaskan winter. Re: **The Trap**
Question:
What are the two stories told at the beginnings of chapters in the book, [i]The Trap[i]?
Answer:
One is about a young man who hides his talent from other young men who are only concerned with showing off and goes on to save the tribe and become chief, the other about an older man who kills a wild animal single handedly after being abandoned by some young men on a hunting trip, young men who made fun of him for wanting to come.
Point Value: 20, or maybe even like a bonus or tie-breaker question...probably the question in a mock or real battle would be to tell the plot of only one of these stories
