The Last Knight
Author: Hilari Bell
Genre: Fantasy/Humor
Summary: "Although there hasn't been a knight errant in over two hundred years, this young noble has decided to revive the trade. He's found himself a reluctant partner in Fisk, a clever rogue who has been given the choice of serving as Michael's squire or going to jail for a very long time. Now Michael and Fisk are on a quest to right wrongs, protect the innocent, and make the world a happier place. "
Characters:
Sir Michael Sevenson: A knight errant. Even though there hasn't been a knight errant in over two hundred years, this young noble has decided to revive the trade. Michael is very... pure. He doesn't like to lie, he's very chivalrous, and overall, he is very naive. This drives Fisk crazy.
Fisk: Sir Michael's squire, a real rogue. He is a skilled con man, and Michael saves him from being put in jail because of it by making him his squire. Fisk originally detests Michael because of his naïveté, which tends to land them in trouble. He grew up in the city, and pretends to be a rough, uneducated city boy. But really he loves to read, and seems to have had something of an education.
